The Moroccanoil group of companies has settled an agreement with Marc Anthony Cosmetics, Inc. over trademark and trade dress infringement. As you can see above, the the colors and wording used on both brands' packaging appear to be somewhat similar.

All disputes have been resolved, a press release states, through a 
confidential global settlement. It’s been reported that “both parties have expressed satisfaction with the resolution, which they believe will protect their respective intellectual property, commercial interests and marketing goals.”

Moroccanoil sued Marc Anthony for trademark and trade dress infringement, passing off and unfair competition in relation to Marc Anthony's Oil of Morocco argan oil products.

Marc Anthony challenged Moroccanoil's trademark registrations in Canada, the United States and abroad.

Litigation had been pending in in the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the Federal Court of Canada, and proceedings in international trademark offices.
