WS Packaging Group, Inc. has announced that Charlie Eitel has been appointed CEO effective April 1, 2015. Eitel joins the company in an operating role after having served on the company’s Board of Directors since May 2014. Over the course of his career, Eitel has held leadership positions with The Simmons Bedding Company (chairman, vice chairman & CEO), Interface, Inc. (president & CEO), and Collins & Aikman Floorcoverings (president & CEO). He also serves on the Board of Directors of Mattress Firm, Duke Realty Corporation, and American Fidelity Assurance Corporation.
 
Eitel replaces Fred Tinsey who has left the company to pursue other opportunities.
