Kelly Rowland, formerly in Beyonce's first group, Destiny's Child, has plans to launch her own makeup line.
Rowland is working with her makeup artist, Sheika Daley, to develop the products. Daley has created Red Carpet looks for Rowland, Nicki MInaj and Zendaya.
Rowland isn't a stranger to the beauty business, she has been a spokesmodel for Caress. Plus, she's not giving up her music career - her new album is soon-to-be-released.
A Desire To Match Darker Skin
Many of the products will no doubt flatter darker skin tones, but Rowland says she plans to also include products in colors to match every skin tone.
Rowland told PeopleStyle, “I remember going to Europe and there was this one makeup artist — I’m a chocolate girl, and she made me look pink,” Rowland recalls to PeopleStyle. “And then when she tried again, I looked green. And then when she tried again, I looked way fairer than what I really am.”
