Diamond Wipes International has expanded its Southern California plant. Two new sites in Chino, California will add another 155,000 square feet of production and warehousing environment to the company's existing, 130,000-square-foot solar-powered manufacturing plant.
The new facilities will start operating toward the end of the year. The company also has a 65,000 square-foot facility in Bucyrus, Ohio that opened in 2006.
"Our business is steadily growing," says David Cisneros, COO. "From the beginning, our geographical location has made us unique. We are one of the few wet wipe manufacturers on the West Coast. This expansion will help solidify our leadership position in the region and our commitment to continue manufacturing in the USA."
Diamond Wipes' investment in its expansion will enable the company to increase its manufacturing capacity and capabilities. One such new capability will be viscous filling using fully customizable, shaped trial size foil sachets.
Cisneros adds, "Our core strength is making wipes, but we also fill liquids for many of our beauty and personal care customers. With the facility expansion, we can look to other contract manufacturing areas for future growth, while not losing the sight of what got us here — the wipes."
