Shiseido Canada Inc. has announced it is welcoming Laura Mercier Cosmetics to its roster. The company commenced sales, marketing, public relations, and logistical operations of Laura Mercier cosmetics, as well as RéVive skincare, in April 2017 -- following 2016 acquisitions by Shiseido Americas Corporation.
Shiseido Canada says its Canadian consumers, retail partners, and media can expect exciting developments in store activities, digital communications, media and influencer outreach, and career opportunities with Laura Mercier as part of the company's initiatives to expand the brand's presence across the country.
Louanne McGrory, president, Shiseido Canada, comments, "Through Laura Mercier's exceptional products and her investment in the brand's Makeup Artist Collective, which includes celebrity makeup artists Pati Dubroff and Jenn Streicher, and renowned digital fashion influencers like Suki Waterhouse, the brand has done an incredible job of connecting with consumers through engaging and aspirational content."
Marc Rey, President and Chief Executive Officer of Shiseido Americas says, "Laura Mercier's belief that what makes you unique makes you beautiful has resonated well with its loyal and fast growing customer base. We couldn't be happier to play a role in expanding the reach of the brand's iconic French elegance and inspiring innovation."
McGrory adds, "The Canadian Laura Mercier team looks forward to further acquainting our retailers, media, influencers, and especially our consumers—the most important priority for all of our brands—with Laura Mercier through retail excellence, beautiful events and innovative partnerships."
