Beautycounter is #1 on Fast Company's list of The World's Most Innovative Beauty Companies of 2020.
The complete list of the World's Most Innovative Companies honors the businesses making the most profound impact on both industry and culture, showcasing a variety of ways to thrive in today's fast-changing world. It includes 434 businesses from 39 countries.
The Beauty category highlights companies that focus on clean beauty and sustainable packaging -- and Beautycounter earned the top spot in this category, due to its mission to be an advocate for ethical beauty.
Beautycounter also won "for pushing its mission of transparency beyond nontoxic ingredients, into mitigating the human toll of the supply chain, starting with mica," Forbes writes. This is the third consecutive year that Beautycounter is named.
L’Oréal, Unilever, and Sephora also made the cut -- scroll down take a look at the complete list below, along with the reason each company was chosen. Head over to the complete story at the link above for more about each winner.
Talking about the win, Beautycounter's Founder and CEO Gregg Renfrew stated, "We are proud to be named again as one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies. This not only acknowledges our leadership in the clean beauty movement, but also further solidifies our leadership in the beauty industry as a whole."
Fast Company senior editor Amy Farley oversaw the issue with deputy editor David Lidsky. Farley comments, "At a time of increasing global volatility, this year's list showcases the resilience and optimism of businesses across the world. These companies are applying creativity to solve challenges within their industries and far beyond."
