Emmanuel Danan has been appointed general manager, Europe, at Maesa, reporting directly to Julien Saada, global CEO and co-founder.
Danan will have overall responsibility for the management of the European and Middle Eastern business, including delivery of the P&L targets, driving the growth agenda and optimizing business operations. He will define the overall strategy and organizational plan for the business, actively manage and grow all programs with existing clients, continue to improve the European operations (development, procurement, supply chain, quality, innovation, etc.), develop the distribution of Maesa-owned brands in Europe and ensure service to Maesa’s customers.
Danan brings 17 years of beauty industry experience from L’Oréal, where he served in brand and product development roles along with market and business unit GM responsibilities. His experience spans the skincare, haircare, makeup and fragrance categories, and diverse markets including France, Germany, broader Europe, Taiwan and China. He most recently served as general manager for the Western Europe markets for L'Oréal Paris.
