Huda Kattan, founder of Huda Beauty, built her beauty empire on full-coverage makeup that doesn't show a pore. Kattan is "a self-proclaimed cake face," the press release states. But she seems to have found her inner glow, and is letting it shine.
"Blemishes or no blemishes, I have learned to embrace and truly respect my skin,” says Huda Kattan. “I wanted to create products that let me show that newfound confidence and the skin that I loved, not hide it away.”
Huda Beauty's new collection, GloWish, launches on June 1st. The two debut products are Multidew Skin Tint, in a tube, shown above, and Soft Radiance Bronzing Powder in a compact. There are also brushes in the collection, with white handles.
Multidew Skin Tint comes in 13 shades, and the plastic squeeze tubes are made from PCR material. The makeup provides lightweight sheer coverage, and it's waterproof.
Soft Radiance Bronzing Powder is a powder-to-cream formula that is best applied with a brush. It's in a compact with a clear lid—to show off the swirl of light and dark pigments. (See it in the Instagram post below)
Additional GloWish products will launch throughout the summer, and all are 'clean' formulas made with a minimum of 80% naturally derived ingredients.
The products are infused with skincare ingredients, including soothing Damascus Rose Oil and blue-light blocking Red Bell Pepper extract.
