At The Fragrance Foundation’s (TFF) annual celebration in June (virtual this year), honoring packaging luminaries, scents, packaging and other achievements in the fragrance industry, Philippe Benacin, chairman and CEO of Interparfums SA, was honored as this year’s recipient of TFF’s Hall of Fame award.
According to TFF, Benacin has been instrumental in shaping the perfume industry’s luxury space for nearly four decades. He started at Interparfums with co-founder Jean Madar in 1982.
Under Benacin’s leadership, Interparfums has developed prestige perfume licenses with some of the world’s most exclusive fashion brands including Boucheron, Coach, Jimmy Choo, Karl Lagerfeld, Kate Spade, Lanvin, Montblanc, and Van Cleef and Arpels, and most recently, Moncler.
