A recent study on global skincare, by market intelligence firm Future Market Insights (FMI), predicts that the market is forecast to grow at 8.1 % CAGR between 2021 and 2031. Findings show that customers who are elevating their self-care spending, are driving sales in skincare—particularly due to increasing global warming and severe climate change. Because pollution has detrimental effects on skin in the long run, FMI says these conditions are prompting customers to use skincare products for protection.
Two additional factors: According to the World Health Organization, the frequency of chronic ailments is anticipated to elevate by 57% by 2020; and the pandemic encouraged people to incorporate better hygiene and healthcare practices.
