MakeUp in LosAngeles presented its 2024 IT Awards at the show on February 14 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. 

Here are this year's IT Award Winners in the following categories:

  • Formulation Winner: Gotha Cosmetics' Waterdrop Eye Stick
  • Full-Service Winner: CTKClip's Aqua Zero Sheet
  • Accessories Winner: Texen's Multi-Intensity Eye Brush
  • Packaging Winner: HCP Packaging's Grafik Refill Compact
The winners were decided after a two-round vote by a jury composed of a dozen international experts in cosmetic innovation. The jury met to test and evaluate the nominees. 

Ana Allen, beauty guru and product developer, consultant for AccessBeauty Insider, and MakeUp in LosAngeles Ambassador hosted the awards ceremony. 

This year's judges were:

  • Aurélie Banco, founder of CO-LAB-ORA, an ethical cosmetic lab
  • Charlotte Marion, beauty product and innovation specialist 
  • Dany Sanz, creator of Make Up for Ever, and product development consultant 
  • Mirela Mitan, beauty chemist, formulator, and entrepreneur
  • Emmanuelle Dumas, cosmetic marketing expert
  • Luisa Oliva, founder of LO Consulting, specializes in product formulations
  • Aimara Coupet, founder BE+RADIANCE Healthy Skin Makeup
  • Charles-Emmanuel Gounod, an expert in B2B international trade in the beauty sector
  • Daniel Saclier, an expert in product development and packaging sourcing 
  • David Souza, a packaging development consultant
  • Florence Bernardin, founder of Asia Cosme Lab, specializes in Asian market trends
  • Jean-Louis Mathiez, an expert in packaging and founder of the Cinqpats agency
  • Philippe Bonneyrat, a packaging and plastics engineer and founder of Lion Vert Création agency
