HBA Health & Beauty America, taking place Sept. 12-14, 2006 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, will feature hundreds of packaging suppliers from North America, Europe, and Asia.

In addition to the array of packaging suppliers on the show floor, HBA also offers a conference program. The packaging sessions cover the creative process, rigid and flexible packaging, prestige to mass market packaging, labeling and decorating, and dispensers.
On Tuesday, Sept. 12, HBA also presents an all-day program on Smart Packaging: Opportunities in Merchandising, Quality Control and Brand Security. The program will cover how to add intelligence to your brands as well as provide information on emerging technologies such as RFID, EPC, Holograms, 2D Bar Codes and sensors.
The 7th Annual International Package Design Awards will also be presented on Tuesday night at the 5th Annual HBA Industry Dinner in New York. More than 30 packaging designs in fragrance, skin care, cosmetics, personal care, as well as for professional beauty and hair care, will vie to be named category leader and grand award winner. The IPDA Awards are sponsored by Beauty Packaging and Happi magazines.
