The Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors (ICMAD) association has announced the launch of a special micro-site on its website to celebrate the winners of the 7th annual CITY Awards for Cosmetic Innovators of The Year.

ICMAD supports its more than 700 company members in the highly competitive cosmetic, toiletry and fragrance industry. “We pride ourselves on bringing attention to the entrepreneurial spirit of our members. The CITY Awards, and this new highly visual electronic presentation of the Awards, highlight our members to a broad and interested audience,” says Penni Jones, ICMAD executive director .
The CITY Awards were presented during the ICMAD annual meeting and dinner on June 17, 2010 in New York City. Awards were presented for Personal Care Product, Color Cosmetic Product, Skin Care Product – Professional (Salon/Spa, doctor’s office), Skin Care Product – Mass (Department/Specialty/Discount/Drug Store), Personal Care Package Design, Color Cosmetic Package Design, Skin Care Package Design, Print Advertisement – Trade or Consumer, Internet Advertisement or Website Design.
ICMAD, founded in 1974, is a trade association of independent cosmetic manufacturers, distributors and suppliers of services and components to the cosmetic industry. Approximately 90% of ICMAD’s 700 member companies are small, entrepreneurial businesses in the cosmetic, toiletry and fragrance field.
