Topline Makes Swarovski Lipstick Collection Sparkle

Topline-Primapack worked closely with Swarovski on its new lipstick collection Crystallize Your Lips, which includes six shades, each named for a crystal: Crystal Silk, Crystal Lila Rose, Crystal Vintage Rose, Crystal Indian Pink, Crystal Light Red Siam and Crystal Burgundy. Featuring a smooth and light texture, Crystallize Your Lips is enriched with micronized Swarovski crystal powder and pearlescent iridescent Crystal Shine. This streamlined lipstick design is in harmony with the Aura by Swarovski fragrance bottle. The packaging’s style stands out thanks to its small diameter, which allows for a precise application.

Topline-Primapack executed the complex package (by Gwenaël Nicolas of Curiosity-Japon Agency), which is in two parts—a long sheath in shiny silver anodized aluminum on which is placed an injected zamac piece, galvanized in the same shade. A Swarovski Elements crystal sparkles at its tip. The injection process allowed for the creation of an ideal shape to fit the contents. The collage, positioning and recess, which is adjusted manually, are of a jeweler’s precision. As the project’s overseer, Topline-Primapack also faced challenges in terms of finishing details—particular concerns included the subtle silkscreen shade on the sheath, the audible and sound ‘click’ of the closure and the mechanism’s easy manipulation.
