HBA Global Expo in Full Swing

HBA Global Expo kicked off yesterday with the opening keynote session featuring executives from some of the beauty industry’s most powerful companies in the Special Events Hall of the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City. All day the exhibit floor buzzed while education sessions ran concurrently in Conference Hall 1A. At the “Unlocking Creativity in Packaging Innovation” yesterday afternoon cosmetic execs discussed exciting new innovations—like rapid prototyping and 3D technology -- that will impact the industry in years to come and also gave tips on building the best cross-functional innovation team. Last night the winners of the IPDA awards were announced at an early evening cocktail party with Sephora Collection Brush Wand taking the top prize as Grand Award winner. The Sephora Wand also won for Tools/At Home Devices Packaging category.
