Fashion designer Jason Wu is launching a lower priced line, Miss Wu, at Nordstrom in January, and there has been some speculation that a beauty line will be next. He has mentioned his interest in exploring this possibility, in interviews.
The 'Miss Wu' brand looks sixties-inspired this season, and Michelle Obama has already worn some of the pieces, including a shift dress, on the campaign trail this year. The designer is said to have played a huge role in creating hair and makeup looks to compliment the clothing, for promotional photos.
