In February, Schick is launching two new products for its disposable razor line -- Schick Hydro 5 Disposables and Schick Hydro Silk Disposables. These will incorporate the same technology to deliver skin benefits similar to Schick's Hydro refillable razor, which first launched in 2010.
Features include: skin guards, which smooth skin while doubling the points of contact between the blades and the skin for less irritation; a "Flip Trimmer," which flips back allowing all five blades to help trim tight spaces; an ergonomic handle; and a hydrating gel reservoir.
"Our philosophy in developing the Schick Hydro 5 and Schick Hydro Silk Disposable razors was that consumers using a disposable deserve the same great technology and skin care benefits as those using a refillable razor," said Joanna DiDomenico, brand manager, Schick Hydro Disposables.
