SGD will be showcasing its travel size fragrance bottles - each with a unique decoration - at the upcoming Luxe Pack New York show.
Producing these fragrance bottles required a collaborative effort among SGD's factories, located around the world. Teams in the U.S., China, France, and Brazil each decorated one of the glass bottles using different techniques, to showcase the decorating capabilities of each factory.
The bottle decorated in the U.S. resembles a drawn-on satin ribbon, giving the monogram a plate effect. The 'crackled' look achieved by SGD's decorating team in China, was created using a celadon ceramic technique.
A detailed monogram design wraps around the bottle that was decorated in France. The bottle decorated in Brazil features an 'explosion of color,' according to SGD. Metallic and glitter inks were used to illuminate the monogram design.
SGD partnered with Givaudan, Rexam and Ileos on this project.
