Matrix is thrilled to welcome world renowned hairstylist and colorist George Papanikolas as the brand's new Celebrity Hairstylist.
Papanikolas is one of Hollywood's most in-demand hair professionals, and has been behind many high profile color transformations, including Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell and Khloe and Kim Kardashian. He has also worked with Megan Fox, Jessica Stroup, Minka Kelly, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Maria Menounos, Hannah Simone, Miley Cyrus, AnnaLynne McCord and Hayden Panettiere.
According to Matrix VP/ General Manager Paul Schiraldi, this new relationship will give loyal Matrix fans the unique opportunity to get the first looks and inside scoops on the hottest, "must-have" Hollywood trends, the minute that George creates them.

Papanikolas, who is from southern California, pioneered the "beach-style" highlighting processes that have evolved into today's popular ombre and balayage techniques. He creates natural-looking, sun-kissed color that looks, "like you've spent a summer at the beach rather than three hours at the salon," he says.
To produce his vibrant color results, he relies on Matrix's SoColor and COLORINSIDER professional haircolor, as well as Biolage Care and Styling products.
