Dermalogica has partnered with the technology company Zapper to offer its UK customers the ability to skip the log-in process on its website, and instead scan a QR code.
Android or iPhone users must download the free Zapper app. Then, Dermalogica customers fill out a short profile on their first use and that allows the user's login to be transmitted securely. All personal data resides on the user's mobile device, which is a safer and more reliable way to store sensitive, personal information, according to Dermalogica.
Glenn Poy, General Manager of Dermalogica UK, commented:
"We are offering our customers this innovative service as a way to alleviate the hassle of registration and login," said With Scan-to-Login our clients are protected and best of all, they don't have to remember their passwords anymore."
