The Estee Lauder Companies’ lifestyle brand Aerin, led by Aerin Lauder, worked with design agency Hush to create an interactive website.
It lets fans design their own floral monograms, inspired by the ingredients in the Aerin fragrance collection. Users click and drag on images of plants, berries and flowers that each fragrance is made from, and can share their completed designs on social media.
After designing, visitors to the site can enter the brand’s 5-week promotion, which ends on April 4. Winners, who will be selected at random, will have a chance to win the grand prize, which is $3,500 worth of Aerin products.
Another promotional aspect of the website's new design is the video section. The short videos introduce the fragrance collection, highlight Aerin Lauder’s personal views on scents, and explore the nature of fragrances.
The fragrance's website is a separate microsite of the main website for the Aerin brand, at aerinfragrances.com.
The fragrances in the collection are: Gardenia Rattan, Amber Musk, Lilac Path, Ikat Jasmine and Evening Rose - all in matching bottles with different colored caps.
