Lilly Pulitzer has partnered with Estee Lauder for the second consecutive year, to launch colorful cosmetic bags that are being featured as a Gift-With-Purchase at several different retailers for Spring 2014.
The original prints, created for Estee Lauder, were all inspired by the Palm Beach lifestyle – “a beach breeze, toes in the sand, and a fruity drink in-hand,” says Pulitzer’s website. They all have matching gold trim.
All of the bags created for each retailer are shown in the photo above, in order the order that they are mentioned below, starting from the top row - left to right; and continuing on the bottom row, left to right. (For a larger image, see Beauty Packaging's Facebook page.)
The makeup bags are filled with Estée Lauder sample products, shown in the middle photo above. The products include: Advanced Night Repair serum; Perfectly Clean Foam Cleanser; Pure Color Lipstick in Pink Parfait, and Sumptuous Mascara in Black.
The first bag with a multii-color floral Lilly Pulitzer print was available exclusively at EsteeLauder.com on February 3rd. This design was followed by one that featured bright yellow lemons, on a background that looks a lot like the pinkish-purple that is Pantone’s Color of the Year, “Radiant Orchid.’ It was available at Dillard’s on February 9th.
Now, a pretty pattern with flowers and line drawings of lipstick cases is launching at Belk stores on March 31st. The GWP promotion at Bloomingdale’s is next – with a bag adorned in a pastel-colored floral print, available on April 2nd.
The print created for Bon-Ton, launching April 8th, features lemons and oranges on a light blue background. Last, Nordstrom’s bag will launch on April 14th, in a floral print that looks more abstract – and it’s also on a pinkish-purple background.
