White Diamonds Elizabeth Taylor is one of the best-selling celebrity scents of all time – with more than a billion dollars in sales, and seems to be still going strong even after the legendary star's passing.
The folks at Elizabeth Arden are going after a younger generation of consumers the latest launch in the White Diamonds franchise - and actress Nia Long has been recruited to capture their attention.
The new White Diamonds Lustre by Elizabeth Taylor launched on June 25th at Macy’s – and actress Long (shown) was at the Mark Hotel in New York City meeting with the press as the fragrance’s brand ambassador.
Lustre is described as a “fresh side of White Diamonds, with sheer effervescent florals that highlight the heart of the fragrance.”
Long commented, "I personally love the juicy pear and raspberry notes in Lustre – it gives it a fresh, fruity feminine touch." This time, its cylinder shaped bottle is deep blue.
Long is best known for her roles on the Showtime series House of Lies, NBC's Third Watch and Fresh Prince of Bel Air. She will also be starring in WE tv's first original scripted drama series, premiering on July 16th.
