You have just one more day to submit an entry for The New Jersey Packaging Executives Club’s (NJPEC) annual Package of the Year Awards. These awards honor the year's most innovative packaging in several industries including health and beauty, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical.
Submissions are due September 12, 2014 and the winners will be announced at the annual Package Of the Year Banquet, November 20, 2014 at The Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ.
Designed to spotlight the best in packaging, the long-running Package of the Year Awards are an ideal way to gain exposure and brand recognition. The industries that are represented include Color Cosmetics; Food and Beverage; Fragrance; Graphics; Health and Beauty; Household and Industrial; Personal Care; Pharmaceutical; and Promotional. Products launched between September 1, 2013 and September 1, 2014 are eligible.
The judging panel includes a variety of packaging and branding experts as well as trade media. Package of the Year submissions will be evaluated on the following criteria: design excellence, shelf impact, uniqueness, cost effectiveness, and graphic presentation. At the discretion of the judges, special awards may also be given in the following categories: Sustainable Packaging, Best Use of Stock Packaging, Marketing Impact, Technical Merit, Packaging Innovation, and Visual Impact.
The Package of the Year Awards is open to members and non-members of NJPEC, and any size company, including suppliers, agencies and brand manufacturers can submit. NJPEC Members receive one free submission and a discounted rate for additional entries.
