Skinlix is a new natural, organic, eco-friendly skincare range based in Lancashire, in the UK and the brand won two environmental awards at the North West Green Hero Awards last year.
The products aren't formulated with water, and free from coloring, preservatives, or controversial chemicals.
Skinlix' eco-friendly packaging includes bar soaps wrapped in compostable seed paper (shown).
The brand also uses recycled and recyclable materials: glass packaging, recycled card tags, hemp twine ties; 100% biodegradable post-consumer waste paper; gummed paper (with maize starch glue as a sealing system) and reusable/biodegradable wood wool to protect the products during transit.
Céline Langrand, the founder, says: "I have favored fair-traded, green materials, all made in the UK, France, Italy, Germany or the Netherlands, over cheaper, polluting options in every possible aspect of my business and made it work!"
