Lancôme just celebrated its 80th anniversary with a bash hosted by Lancôme General Manager Françoise Lehmann at Casino de Paris.
The brand was founded by entrepreneur Armand Petitjean in 1935. The celebration was nicknamed the 'WÔW' party, after Lancôme's signature letter. The theme was "La vie est belle en Lancôme", life is beautiful with Lancôme.
Brand ambassadors were among the 1,200 guests, including: Julia Roberts, Penélope Cruz, Kate Winslet, Lupita Nyong'o, Lily Collins, Alma Jodorowsky and Daria Werbowy were all on stage together for the first time ever. Isabella Rossellini, who graced the brand with her charm and beauty for so many years, was the master of ceremony.
Kylie Minogue (shown at left) performed, followed by French DJ Kiddy Smile.
Also in attendance were: Jean-Paul Agon, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of L'Oréal, Lancôme's parent company, and Nicolas Hieronimus, President Selective Divisions of L'Oréal - on hand to greet the many other VIP guests, including:
John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Ellen von Unwerth, Peter Lindberg, Lily Donaldson, Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, Riccardo Tisci, Caroline Vreeland, Anthony Vaccarello, Christina Pitanguy, Kristina Bazan, Billy Hell, and Lisa Eldridge, who was recently appointed creative director of Lancôme Make up.
Last January, 'Editions du Regard' launched - a book celebrating the brand's heritage. This was followed by the launch of the first web-only limited edition Lancôme products, three shades of the legendary L'Absolu Rouge.
