Dorco, a global razor manufacturer, has launched a new ecommerce site for its UK customers - and "razors by mail" subscription plans. Replacement blades are regularly delivered straight to the customers' door, the brand says. Dorco's new UK website also features highlights from Dorco's history, illustrating 60 years of blade technology.
The Blades
Initially, the Razors by Dorco site will offer men's product ranges, catering for; 3 blade, 4 blade, and even a 6 blade - the world's first. Razors by Dorco will expand its offering rolling out their hugely successful women's range later in 2015.
Charles Park, managing director, Dorco Europe Ltd, explains: "Our aim is to make life more convenient for regular shavers. We know that many people are paying way over the odds for their razors and blades, while still having to remember to put them in their supermarket trolley. Our blades are of the same quality, but we are bringing a substantial saving to them by connecting them directly with the manufacturer."
The Razor's Design Features
The "Razors by Dorco" system is designed for convenience - the handles come with a universal docking system, so any model's handle can be used with any blade cartridge. Dorco's blade selection includes trimmers for shaping and dermatologically tested lubricating strips.
Park says, "We launched the 6 blade with trimmer system razor in the US in 2012 and the reviews have been fantastic, just look them up online. We will not stop innovating and working to bring customers the best shave possible".
Dorco currently has a worldwide customer base of over 130 million. The company is one of the leading razor suppliers in North America, with around 10% market share in terms of volume of a $2.3 billion industry.
