Tresemme is the official hair care sponsor of New York Fashion Week (NYFW), and has partnered with Amazon to make the top hair looks from the runways "shoppable" - from the moment they appear on the runway.
The brand's innovative marketing plan includes "how-to" hair styling tutorials, live from the runways - and are featured on the site Tresemmé 24/7 Runway Studio. The brand is staying a step ahead of all the fashion bloggers out there by promoting its own content.
Chris Barron, Global Vice President, Marketing, Tresemmé, said, "No matter their city, town or time zone, our goal is to bring the excitement of New York Fashion Week directly to women and put them at the heart of the trends. Collaborating with Amazon allows customers to immediately get the products and tutorials they need to re-create each runway look. With the TRESemmé 24/7 Runway Studio our fans can now experience the buzz and excitement of New York Fashion Week and get the looks they love, like never before."
Backstage at NYFW
Tresemme has recruited world-renowned hair stylists Orlando Pita and Jeanie Syfu to represent the brand at NYFW, and create looks at some of the week's most celebrated shows, including Diane von Furstenberg, Carolina Herrera, Hervé Léger, BCBG, Rebecca Minkoff, Marissa Webb, Rachel Zoe and Banana Republic.
"Live" Locations to Visit the Brand in NYC
There is also a "real life" 24/7 Runway Studio - and it's actually open 24 hours a day for the duration of Fashion Week, located at 343 West 14th Street between 8th and 9th Avenue. Fashionistas can visit to enjoy complimentary runway hair styling, relax and re-caffeinate in-between shows and watch exclusive NYFW footage. It opens to the general public after 8 pm, by appointment.
Fashion show guests can also visit the brand's custom-built temporary salons and VIP lounges at two official NYFW locations, the Skylight at Moynihan and HQ.
