Image Skincare has won a lawsuit against its former distributor on the West Coast, Aesthetics Plus. A jury in Sacramento County ruled in favor of the beauty company, when the five-week trial ended on September 1st.
Aesthetics Plus, co-owned and operated by Metaxia Dalikas, was found guilty of breach of contract and intentional concealment, for developing and marketing a competitive line of skin care products.
Image Skincare was awarded significant monetary damages in addition to litigation costs.
Edward P. Freidberg, founding partner of Freidberg Law Corporation, which represented Image Skincare, said, "Integrity is still at the heart of doing business in America and for the past decade, Image Skincare has built its reputation as a business, an employer and a community partner based on just that...we are pleased with the jury's decision that found in our favor and recognized that Aesthetics Plus and Dalikas violated its ethical and legal obligations towards Image."
