Solon, OH-based CardPak has grown from manufacturing skinboard, to offering full-service, eco-friendly paperboard packaging solutions for global consumer brands across many industries. The company says it attributes its success to its employees, customers and community. “As we celebrate CardPak’s 50th anniversary, we honor all the employees who have contributed to our success. Their commitment and tireless efforts have made this momentous milestone possible. We are grateful for the successful partnerships we have forged with customers, vendors and suppliers,” said Lisa Thomas, CardPak co-owner.
“It’s a very exciting time for CardPak,” said Rick Thomas, CardPak co-owner and CEO. “We are well positioned to deliver custom packaging solutions as well as provide environmentally sustainable products with maximum graphic appeal for retailers. We’re at the forefront of “club packaging” via converting the typical ‘clamshell’ type of package to the current ‘trapped blister,’ significantly reducing the amount of plastic used to enclose products.” Thomas says CardPak recently pioneered a process that requires no heat for sealing by using a proprietary coating.
