The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund (CVFF), which was created to support the next generation of fashion designers in America, has announced a new collaboration with MAC Cosmetics.
MAC is no stranger to setting trends on the fashion runways, as demonstrated in the photos above. Now, five womenswear designers that are former CVFF finalists will develop a proposal for a six-piece makeup collection that captures the essence of their creative vision.
A judging panel will cast their votes in early 2016, and the winning proposal will go into production. The collection is expected to launch in 2017, Vogue reports.
The five designers that will submit proposals for their own MAC collection are: Tome, Tanya Taylor, Cushnie et Ochs, Juan Carlos Obando and Chromat.
