Estee Lauder Companies is expanding its luxury fragrance portfolio with its newest acquisition - By Kilian.
By Kilian is a luxury niche fragrance brand based in Paris, and sold in more than 40 countries worldwide. By Kilian offers an exclusive “wardrobe” of scents, mainly housed in luxurious black lacquer bottles, and beautiful velvet-lined keepsake boxes.
By Kilian will be added to the portfolio of ELC brands that fall under the leadership of John Demsey, executive group president. Dempsey's other brands include Tom Ford Beauty and Jo Malone London, and Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle.
Growing a Legacy
The brand was founded in 2007 by Kilian Hennessy. Hennessey will continue in his role as the brand's founder and CEO, and commented, “I could not imagine a better home for my brand."
