On Saturday, July 23, on the opening night of Cosmoprof North America (CPNA), in Las Vegas, beauty brand entrepreneurs will once again have the chance of a lifetime to appear before a panel of judges including Shark Tank’s Mark Cuban.
Launched in 2015, the Beauty Pitch competition focuses on helping beauty entrepreneurs take their business to the next level. There are two separate business categories: Startup Category (revenues ranging from $100K to $5M) and the Established Category (revenues ranging from $5M and above).
The competition is open to beauty entrepreneurs from all sectors including prestige, mass, clinical, organic/natural, the professional salon/spa market and technology service providers. Interested companies must be based in the United States, have U.S. distribution, show an annual 10% growth in revenue since the launch of the business and meet the category revenue requirements.
Beauty Pitch Application Information
Beauty Pitch applicants will need to prepare a two-minute video, complete an online application and submit a one-page executive summary. Three finalist companies from both the Startup and Established categories will pitch their businesses to a live audience and panel of judges at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2016. Celebrity entrepreneur Mark Cuban will be returning to the competition as a celebrity judge. The cost is $250 for CPNA Exhibitors and PBA Members and $500 for other applicants.
