Shadow Shields has launched in Walmart's brick-and-mortar stores across North America, in 3,410 locations. The mult-tasking beauty tool has already been featured on E! News, The TODAY Show and The Ellen Show - and is gaining in popularity.
Michelle Villanueva, CEO, Shadow Shields, was a freelance makeup artist in Southern California before developing Shadow Shields. The disposable cotton pad is the answer to flawless makeup, according to Villanueva.
Shadow Shields is designed to prevent eye shadow and eye liner mistakes and smudges under the eyes during makeup application. The pad's straight edge also helps perfect the winged cat eye, as well as mascara smudges. It also fits perfectly under your lips, to prevent lip color from running.
Villanueva said, "This is such a huge highlight for our brand. My long time goal and dream has been to have Shadow Shields accessible to the masses. Walmart is the perfect retailer for both convenience and price point for our consumers."
The product is packaged in a 30-count box and has been sold in stores worldwide for the past 8 years for $9.99. At Walmart, the brand created a new size - a 14-count box retails for $4.78.
The video below demonstrates the application method.
