L'Oreal is calling for nominees - for the 11th Annual L'Oréal Paris Women of Worth Awards.
The philanthropic program honors women who are igniting social change on a local, national or global level. It is aligned with the brand messaging, and conveys that 'Every Woman Is Worth It' by elevating women who find beauty in giving back.
Now through April 29th, L'Oreal is asking the public to nominate an inspiring women who is making a difference, and selflessly serves her community. Nominations are accepted here on the site, WomenOfWorth.
Each year, 10 extraordinary women are chosen from thousands of nominations and honored for the significant impact they have made across a variety of admirable causes.
Karen T. Fondu, president, L'Oréal Paris USA, said, "Since our Honorees have been named Women of Worth, their efforts have multiplied, and their reach has expanded. Remarkable, life-changing work is being led by fearless women, and we are eager to learn their inspirational stories through the Women of Worth nominations process and celebrate their passion for helping others."
Applicants will be narrowed down to 10 Honorees who will each be awarded a $10,000 grant for her cause. One Honoree, chosen by popular vote, will be selected as the National Honoree and awarded an additional $25,000 grant for a total of $35,000 to support her organization.
All 10 of the 2016 Honorees will be recognized in November at an awards ceremony hosted by L'Oréal Paris in New York.
