Christie Brinkley is promoting her skincare line's new gift set, and the brand's partnership with Smile Train.
The new Ageless Beauty Set by Christie Brinkley Authentic Skincare includes Uplift + IR Defense Firming Neck & Décolleté Cream and Refocus Under Eye Treatment, packed in a light blue gift box. It's available at Kohl's for $69. Twenty percent of the set's purchase price, now through the end of 2016 or while supplies last, will benefit Smile Train.
Brinkley described Smile Train as, "a wonderful charity close to my heart that helps to create new smiles for children in need around the world." Brinkley has been working with the organization as a Goodwill Ambassador for nearly 10 years. Smile Train provides training, funding and resources to empower local doctors in the developing world to provide 100 percent-free cleft repair surgery and comprehensive cleft care in their own communities. Since its founding in 1999, Smile Train has provided more than one million cleft repair surgeries.
"We are grateful for Christie's continued generosity and efforts to support children living with untreated clefts," said Susannah Schaefer, CEO of Smile Train. "Cleft repair surgery not only provides a child with the precious gift of a smile, but also a fresh opportunity for a full and productive life."
