Éclair Naturals, a new hair and body care line, is partnering with actress Jennfer Esposito - and announced the collaboration at a launch event in NYC at the end of May.
Éclair Naturals uses natural food grade ingredients, and its products are all gluten-free, soy-free, vegan, cruelty-free, non-GMO and made in the USA. The line began rolling out to Rite-Aid stores across the U.S. in February.
Esposito has celiac disease, and runs Jennifer's Way Bakery in Manhattan's East Village neighborhood.
John Matise, co-founder / CEO, Éclair Naturals, said, "We are socially responsible and manufacture at our own certified non-GMO facility in the USA to ensure quality control and no cross-contamination.
Matise continues, "We spent many years in development utilizing only the best natural ingredients available and avoiding ingredients like sulfates, phthalates or phenoxyethanol – which resulted in the most luxuriously pure body care line for both women and men. Being vegan and cruelty-free are part of our inherent brand promise and we are certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny, a program run by the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC)."
Éclair Naturals is also the first company, ever, to have over 100 body care products certified as gluten-free by the Celiac Support Association. Esposito is a strong advocate for education about the condition, and wrote the book, "Jennifer's Way."
Esposito said, "As someone who suffers from celiac disease and cannot tolerate gluten, I have made it my personal mission to promote celiac awareness, share my story and educate on eliminating gluten and other harmful ingredients from your diet and skin care regimen. It's not just what goes in your body, but what goes on your body, that counts. Éclair Naturals is a natural fit from their ingredients to their ethos."
