Angel Shave Club has launched a subscription box service for women’s razors - and the company says that more than 1500 women have already joined during its first month.
The company is based in San Diego, and was founded by Iskra Tsenkova. Frustrated when she couldn't tell the difference between her own razor and her husband's in the bathroom, Tsenkova decided to create Angel Shave Club.
The club’s members have several options to choose from, including handle color, as well as 3 or 5 blade styles. Plans can be customized, and prices start at $6. Each box is delivered every 2 months or 4 months, and contains 8 blades. Shipping is free.
Raising Money for a Cause
A portion of the profits go to the Malala Fund, which allows a girl in a low-to-middle class country receive twelve years of education.
