Modere, an online retailer dedicated to clean living, has been working closely with the Environmental Working Group - and now its oral care line will become the first on the organizations' list of verified products.

Vic Catalfamo, chief marketing officer of Modere, says, "Modere has been committed to providing safe and effective, clean-label personal care, household and health and wellness products for over 25 years, and we believe that our partnership with EWG will further help provide consumers around the globe with an easier way to identify products with the highest safety profile.
He continues, We are proud to now display the EWG VERIFIED mark on several Modere products, including the first oral care line in the world, with many additional EWG VERIFIED products planned."
Modere points out that according to a 2016 Mellman Group survey, 75% of Americans believe chemicals in personal care products, including toothpaste and mouth rinse, pose a serious threat. And according to the EWG, women use an average of 12 personal care products every day - and are being exposed to up to 168 chemicals.
