Mavericks has launched Shave - a new high-performance product that is described as a "shaving moisturizer," developed to condition and soften the skin before shaving. The product is activated by water, forming a slick surface for smoother razor glide and less irritation, the brand claims.
Mavericks is a skin care brand for men that was founded in 2015 by Brad Yim. Three of the products in the brand's Face collection, Protect, Wash and Rebuild, are also shown above.
Mavericks chose black plastic bottles for its Face collection. They look elegant and upscale, with a sleek minimalist design aesthetic. Shave, also shown above, is a a matte white tube.
Yim says he plans to reinvent and elevate the men's shaving category, and commented, "Many men find shaving to be especially unpleasant, mainly due to the use of low-quality ingredients that can be harsh on the skin. We believe that anything that touches your face, must be great for your face. SHAVE is a new class of shaving moisturizer, improving your skin as you shave."
