Christian Louboutin has added fragrances to his beauty collection (which includes this lip gloss) and there are three. The fragrances are housed in striking twisted glass bottles, each accented with a different color.
Bikini Questra Sera: A “sensual and sun-kisseed” mix of floral notes, including jasmine and tuberose, with amber. It is in the bottle accented with amber at the top of the bottle and on the cap.
Tornade Blonde is a rose-based fragrance, with cassis and violet. It is in the bottle that is scarlet red at the bottom.
Trouble in Heaven contains patchouli and tonka bean, with a light iris note. It is in a bottle accented with deep purple on its top half, including the cap.
"I wanted to celebrate woman and her desires. I wanted these fragrances to enhance an aspect of her personality, or perhaps reveal something about her that no one knew before, maybe not even her, tell a secret, a story. I want to give women the means to express themselves and to delight in their femininity,” Christian Louboutin states.
A Striking Design
The twisted glass bottles are “looped,” to create the illusion that the liquid is moving inside the bottles. The dip tubes are visible through the clear caps.
The bottles were designed by Thomas Heatherwick, an architect who is most known for designing the Olympic Cauldron for the 2012 Olynpics in London and The Hive, a university building in Signapore.
Where To Get Them
The fragrances are being sold here - on the designer’s website. Each retails for $275, for an 80 ml bottle.
