Since ancient times, perfume and glass have shared a common history. Meant as a protective vessel, the glass bottle extends the fragrance experience. With this in mind, Verescence has decided to be a key partner of Le Grand Musée du Parfum, the new fragrance museum in Paris that’s housed in a XVIII century private mansion located at 73, rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré.
As the only partner from the glassmaking industry, Verescence will share its unique glassmaking expertise through more than 500 luxury fragrance bottles exhibited at every level. Pictures and videos will enable the public to discover the company’s combination of industrial complexity and artistic creation. More than 300,000 visitors are expected per year.
Coty is also an essential contributor to the museum due to its rich heritage in the fragrance industry. Its iconic brands are featured throughout the exhibition areas, as is a tribute to founder, François Coty, and an early Lalique fragrance bottle on which they collaborated.
A selection of Coty brands is also available for purchase in the museum's concept store where a robot will fetch the fragrance matching the visitor’s olfactory profile.
