Lindal Group, a leader in aerosol packaging, recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new, state-of-the-art, 100,000-square foot production facility in Columbus, IN, which the company says “will further benefit customers in the fast-growing U.S. market.”
This expandable facility, slated for completion by the end of 2017, is part of Lindal’s overall $20 million investment in the U.S. market, which also includes new equipment to increase capacity and expand the company’s aerosol product portfolio.
On hand to celebrate the occasion were Francois-Xavier Gilbert, Lindal CEO; Manfred Schnorr, Lindal CFO; Jerry Miller, managing director, Lindal U.S.; Jim Lienhoop, Mayor, Columbus, IN; Dale Buuck, VP, Indiana Economic Development Council; Frank Miller, president Columbus City Council; Jason Hester, president, Greater Columbus EDC; Heather Pope, City Redevelopment Commission; and Trevor Lane, director, IEDC.
According to Philip Brand, global marketing director, Lindal Group, the new centrally located U.S. facility will include production, offices, laboratories and warehousing, all on the same industrial campus.
