Beauty and fashion often go hand in hand, and a former P&G beauty executive is proving the point. Ralph Lauren Corp has named former Procter & Gamble executive Patrice Louvet as chief executive. His predecessor left Lauren a few months ago. Louvet served as group president of P&G's global beauty unit that oversees 12 brands, including Head & Shoulders, Olay and Pantene.
Louvet's appointment will be effective July 17, and he will also be appointed to the board.
