Poo~Pourri's Suzy Batiz, founder/CEO, has been named an Entrepreneur Of The Year Finalist in the Southwest Region in the 2017 EY Awards.
The awards program, which is celebrating its 31st year, recognizes entrepreneurs who are excelling in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
Batiz invented Poo~Pourri ten years ago, in her kitchen. It is "the world's best Before-You-Go Toilet spray," the brand says. Since launching her innovative business, over 22 million bottles have been sold.
"I'm honored to be a finalist in this program so I can show women everywhere that your past does not equal your future," says Batiz. "Here I am after two bankruptcies and multiple failed business to say that it is possible to reclaim your power and voice after any struggle."
The EY Award winners will be announced at a special gala event on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas.
