Coppertone, and its manufacturer Bayer, are promoting the first-ever whipped sunscreen called Coppertone Whipped, with a summer tour. In the photo above, Ali Fedotowsky-Manno, Nastia Liukin and Brandi Cyrus at an event called, "Simply Stylist," which was recently held in Miami.
The brand is engaging beauty influencers and bloggers to offer tutorials for incorporating Coppertone Whipped into daily skincare routines.
Lisa Perez, Marketing Director, Suncare at Bayer, says, "...we're approaching this year's Whipped launch in a new and different way. Sunscreen lovers will have a chance to interact with and learn all about Coppertone Whipped through creative content, in-store product samplings, trusted beauty influencers, and more on-the-ground experiences."
The promotion includes: the "ProtectMy" social media Sweepstakes and Contest; a partnership with "Simply Stylist" to create a pop-up experience, which recently took place; a partnership with The Skin Cancer Foundation on its new program, Destination: Healthy Skin, to promote healthy sun protection practices; and the sponsorship of Disney-Pixar's "Cars 3: Road to the Races Tour," where a "racer pit crew" encouraged visitors to take part in a tire changing activity and photo-sharing opportunity.
