The Fragrance Foundation has named Linda G. Levy as president, replacing Elizabeth Musmanno. Levy has played an integral part in the Foundation’s organization and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors. She recently worked with the
Foundation on the consumer Scent Event.
Jerry Vittoria, chairman of the Foundation and president of Fine Fragrance, Worldwide, Firmenich, Inc., said: “We are delighted to appoint Linda Levy as the new president of The Fragrance Foundation.” He added, “She is a well-respected industry executive
who has diverse marketing and retail experience and is truly passionate about fragrance. We look forward to collaborating with Linda as we continue to uphold the Foundation’s mission. Education, Innovation, Appreciation.”
“I am honored to be the next President of The Fragrance Foundation,” said Levy. “The Fragrance Foundation is the nucleus of our community. I look forward to plotting a strategic course and continuing to elevate our presence in our industry and with consumers.”
In her current role, Levy serves as the Omni Group Vice President, Divisional Merchandise Manager for Fragrances at Macy’s Inc. She is responsible for all aspects of the business in all Macy’s stores and on macys.com.
Levy joined Macy’s East in 2007 and has held various roles including Group Vice President/ Divisional Merchandise Manager for Cosmetics, Vice President of Marketing for Cosmetics and Fragrances and Vice President, Marketing Effectiveness and Direct Mail.
Prior to Macy’s, Levy held senior level management positions in the cosmetics and fragrance industry for nearly 20 years on the vendor side. Her career has included leadership roles both on a global and national level, including at L’Oréal’s Lancôme USA, The Estée Lauder Companies and Wella/Procter & Gamble. Additionally, she has consulted at several companies including Shiseido and Coty.
