As wooden components—especially caps—continue on a growth path for perfumery, cosmetic and beverages, Pujolasos reports that increased demand has prompted them to double their production capacity from 25-million caps to 50 million, in just one year. The increased production capacity will allow the firm to handle large volume projects for the beauty and beverage sector with "a high added value." In addition to caps, this includes additional packaging components such as bottles and compacts.
According to Pujolasos, the growth stems from their various projects with large perfumery and cosmetics firms, such as LVMH, Rituals and Clarins. Wooden packaging components have become especially popular due to their sustainability story.
