The Perfumed Plume Awards has announced its 3rd annual awards celebration will take place on Wednesday, April 11th 2018, in New York City.
Submissions will be accepted here on Perfumed Plume’s website from November 1st through January 31st, 2018. See below for the new criteria for submissions.
Mary Ellen Lapsansky, co-founder, comments, “We were energized by the number and quality of submissions received last year from the incredibly talented fragrance writers both at home and abroad. We are hoping to double the number of submissions going into the 2018 awards process.”
Lyn Leigh, co-founder, adds, “We’re very excited and looking forward to crossing our third year milestone - the benchmark for a successful venture.”
Criteria for Submissions - Scent Stories (Digital & Print)
Fragrance articles must focus on scent, in general. They must be a minimum of 500 words and published between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017.
The story should be written in an original, creative and unique style that engages and educates the consumer on the art and craft of fragrance. The story should also give an inside view of the cultural, historic, scientific and personal approaches to fragrance design — and what it takes to create an evocative scent.
The types of stories that will NOT be accepted are new fragrance launch announcements, Q&A interviews, and articles about a specific fragrance.
Who Can Submit
Print publications and digital sites that have been established and active for at least 1 year, are published in English, and have a large following in the U.S. Each publication may submit 2 articles per award category.
