Kevyn Aucoin Beauty partnered with Marchesa at the designer's Spring/Summer 2018 New York Fashion Week runway show last night. The brand's lead makeup artist Gucci Westman led the backstage makeup look.

Marchesa co-founders Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig comment, "We are excited to collaborate with Kevyn Aucoin Beauty for this year's show. Our brands both have a foundation in artistry and the transformative power of glamour. It's felt like a natural fit from the start and we hope it's just the beginning."
#TeamKevyn
Kevyn Aucion Beauty is promoting its runway makeup looks using the hashtag, #teamkevyn, which is a new initiative. Westman is the first "honorary member" of #teamkevyn and will work alongside Viviana Martin, director of global artistry and pro-artist relations for Kevyn Aucoin Beauty.
The brand says #teamkevyn is a "social and educational initiative that celebrates a community of artistry, bringing together makeup artists and beauty enthusiasts to share their work, inspiration, technique and passion."
The initiative coincides with a 360 relaunch of the 15-year-old iconic beauty brand that was founded by Kevyn Aucoin. This year also marks the 20th anniversary of Aucoin's best-selling book, Making Faces, which brought the art of beauty, technique and transformation to millions and changed the industry forever.
Hillary Solomon, CEO of Kevyn Aucoin Beauty, comments, "The long term vision for the brand is to continue to carry out Kevyn's original mission which was to empower women to create their own version of beautiful through technique and transformation."
Westman says, "Kevyn was such an inspiration to me as an artist and being able to bring that full circle by working with the Kevyn Aucoin Beauty team at the Marchesa show is so special."
